Jennifer Cooke received her Bachelors of Medical Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies at Alderson Broaddus College in Phillipi, West Virginia in June of 1998. She is a Nationally Board Certified Physician Assistant. Jenny completed her Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Psychiatry in November of 2016. She has practiced as a Physician Assistant in Psychiatry since 2011. Jenny treats children, adolescents, and adults who suffer from anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, Autism, ADHD, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, PTSD, and personality disorders. She likes to coordinate care with her patients’ therapists and other treatment providers to offer optimal care. Jenny has experience working at Virginia Beach Psychiatric Hospital treating acute psychiatric conditions as well as heading the hospital’s Partial Program which provides a transitional level of care. She enjoys working with her patients and their families/caregivers to identify the best course of treatment including the coordination and administration of long acting injections.
